Gastronomy

Just a few minutes from the hotel, in Santa Cruz do Douro, you'll find Casa de Tormes, associated with Eça de Queiroz and his work "The City and the Mountains," which was inspired by this region.

It is from this proximity that the reference to the writer arises in the Douro Palace's restaurants. The Eça Restaurant, overlooking the river, focuses on the flavors of the region, with a simple and contemporary approach. The Tertúlia Bar offers a more informal space, designed for moments of pause throughout the day. During the summer months, the Lira Bar, next to the pool, provides support service in a relaxed atmosphere.
